Project Description
This 0.1 acre site on Chicken Valley Rd. in Upper Brookville, NY was restored to woodland and meadow habitat. North Shore Land Alliance replaced a thicket of greenbrier with native shrubs, understory trees, ferns and wildflowers. North Shore Land Alliance has also updated a decades-old interpretive trail and are installing signage describing the preserve's natural communities.
